​Spacebar Studio is a chartered architecture and interior design practice specialising in refined, residential living.
Founded in 2014 by RIBA Chartered Architect Kasia Stasiak, the studio was born from a growing demand for her thoughtful, personal approach to design — one that connects architecture, interiors, and construction into a seamless, holistic process.
With over two decades of experience in the UK construction industry, Kasia has worked across a wide range of project types — from high-end homes and boutique commercial spaces to large-scale office fit-outs during her time at award-winning London practice Spacelab. Her deep understanding of the design and build process, combined with longstanding relationships with planning consultants, developers, and contractors, allows the studio to deliver pragmatic, elegant spaces from concept through completion.
Today, Spacebar Studio focuses primarily on mid-to-prime residential projects across London, Surrey, West Sussex, and Hampshire, with a growing number of design-and-build schemes delivered in collaboration with our trusted team of contractors.

At Spacebar Studio, every project begins with listening. We believe great design doesn’t start with a style — it starts with people. We take time to understand how you live, how you want to feel in your home, and how each space can support that.
We bring together architecture, interiors, and construction from the very beginning — ensuring every element works in harmony, from the structure of a space to the smallest material detail. This joined-up thinking allows us to design homes that are not only refined and beautiful, but practical, buildable, and deeply personal.
Whether we’re designing a calm family retreat, a statement city townhouse, or a forever home in the countryside, our process is grounded in collaboration, clarity, and care — creating spaces that connect inside and out, and elevate everyday living.
OUR PROCESS
1. Discover
(RIBA Stage 0–1: Strategic Definition & Briefing)
We begin by listening — understanding your goals, lifestyle, and vision for the space. From the outset, we assess feasibility and set a clear brief that balances design ambition with practical requirements.
2. Design
(RIBA Stage 2–3: Concept & Developed Design)
We create design concepts that respond to the site, flow between spaces, and enhance daily living. Architecture and interiors are developed in tandem — considering light, materials, and form. We refine these into a fully coordinated design ready for planning approval.
3. Detail
(RIBA Stage 4: Technical Design)
We produce detailed drawings and specifications for construction, joinery, finishes and fittings. At this stage, we liaise with planning authorities, consultants and specialists to ensure the design is ready for build.
4. Deliver
(RIBA Stage 5–6: Construction & Handover)
Whether working with your builder or via our sister company, Pro-Ferb, we support the construction process from start to finish — ensuring the vision is realised with care, craft and consistency.
5. Live
(RIBA Stage 7: In Use)
Even after handover, we remain involved — ensuring everything works as intended and that your new space truly supports the way you live.
